How did I get this project?
I was able to get this project because of CAPS, The Center for Advanced Professional Studies, this program has given me the opportunity to work with multiple real-world clients to provide them with their creative wants. It has also allowed me to pursue my passion in photography and graphic design.
what did I learn?
I believe out of all the projects I’ve done this is the one that I grew the most from. I worked on this project for 6 months starting from my first conversation with the coaches to the final draft being printed and installed in the gym hallway. Through trial and error I learned more about InDesign, printing, image quality, and file formats.

Prom Poster
Description
My Sophomore year of high school I took Graphic Design II and my graphics teacher assigned me to design the logo and poster for our schools prom that year. As you scroll down I showed my thought process throughout the project from my starting sketches to finished product.
what did I learn?
I learned so much from this project because it was my first time being requested to make a digital design for someone, and this was for my school! My experience level was at its minimum but I watched countless hours of YouTube tutorials and slowly got better. I learned how to use Adobe Fonts, create a neon glow, and how to export large files.
What was the best part?
I had so mush fun during this project, I think everyone knows the feeling of making something and treasuring it more than if you were to just get it from somewhere else. That was my feeling through this, to put the work into it and when you get to see that final product printed and hung around the school for everyone to see you can’t help but smile.
