Drive KC
Description
Drive KC is an automotive social club focused on bringing car enthusiasts of all sorts together. They host car shows/events all around the Kansas City area for motor heads to enjoy and discuss their love for cars. I worked alongside the owners to provide them with promotional media and merchandise design.
How did I get this project?
I was able to get this project because I was in the same Digital Design and Photography class at the Center for Advanced Professional Studies with one of the owners. We had tossed the idea around and before you knew it I began to attend the car shows/events and create designs for their merchandise.
what did I learn?
I learned a lot throughout this project that I previously hadn’t come across, growing up I never was a huge car guy so I didn’t have much knowledge on certain things but I began to grow into it. I began to learn the best ways to take pictures of cars, create designs that brought the cars to life, and use image trace in a creative way.
